If you are the creative type, you need to read Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.
Oh, but what does this have to do with LVT floors?
*Pours a glass of wine and hands it over.*
I was chatting with one of my co-workers about staying inspired. Elizabeth Gilbert discusses this concept of how ideas have souls. They’re like this living thing with a mind of its own, looking for the perfect vessel to bring it to life. Or it moves on if you don’t. As creative types, we whole-heartedly believed in this concept.
This post has been just that for me, even though it can never entirely leave me. After all, this is about MY floors. This is coming out, one way or another.
There were so many ways to share this with you. I was going to do this in one long post, sharing the befores and afters while discussing what LVT is and why we chose this particular product: COREtec Plus HD in Espresso Contempo Oak. In no way are we sponsored by this company. I’m sharing it because I love it!
Now, let’s get on to the good stuff because I love a good before and after as much as everyone else!
Or is it the bad stuff because we’re looking at the befores first?
And here are the afters:
I think these LVT floors have made a huge difference in the look of our home. It feels more cohesive and I don’t have to worry about stains. The old carpet was starting to look worse for the wear, so I was glad to see that go!
I’ll share another post soon on why we selected this particular product and why you should consider this option as well.
