I have Florida vibes on my brain!

For the past couple of months, I’ve been in a slump. I was drained of a lot of ideas, inspirations, and motivation. I couldn’t bring myself to work on this blog.

In the meanwhile, Charleston was ordered to evacuate. As many people liked to say, being stalked by Hurricane Florence was like being stalked by a turtle. Its path was quite slow and indirectly clear.

For a while, we had a small chance of being directly hit. Then we weren’t but it would take a southward turn after making its landing in North Carolina (my heart is with you guys!) before heading northernly more inland.

People panicked when they got that bit of news Wednesday morning. Instead of weathering it out as originally planned, I thought, “Screw it! I’m tired of all the noise!”

My husband mentioned one of his co-workers went to West Palm Beach.

I booked a house on VRBO, whether my family was coming or not, and we were gone the next day.

Hurricanes are one of these natural disasters that nobody gives any thanks to. They’re often devastating when they hit. Whether I lost my house or not, I plucked a silver lining out of one of those dark clouds.

A road trip was just what my soul needed.

Now I have so many ideas, inspirations, and motivation, especially towards my blog.

Now let me share with you what my ideas of Florida vibes, particularly of West Palm Beach/Palm Beach, are:

Tour the Carillon Beach, Florida beach house here.

This is one of my favorite spaces of all times. Tour the rest of the house here.

Even though this home is located in California, this homeowner’s heart is in Florida, specifically West Palm Beach. This is another one of my favorite homes. Tour more here.

Check out the rest of this Vero Beach house here.

This is another one of my favorite rooms. I’m starting to notice a trend that I’ve never thought of: I have a thing for Palm Beach style. Tour this home here.
