Don’t you just love a good couch loaded with pillows? And those mats in the picture frames? I’m not sure I would have thought to do any kind of brown tones, but it looks great how it’s all pulled together here. The pictures all look like sepia tones, but it’s difficult to tell if that’s the case or if it really is black and white. I’m also loving the polk-a-dotted lamp shade to the left in the photo above with the blue lamp base. It adds to some fun in the living room, right along with the purple pillows.
This is a post that I’ve been meaning to do for a while. We traveled to Helen, GA back in May-the weekend we got engaged. I don’t even remember how I came across it, but I was charmed at the idea that it was German inspired. That and I really wanted some mountain time.
I don’t really believe in New Year’s resolution. It doesn’t seem to work for me. I think I generally create a list that says here’s what you will and will not do and maybe that sets the bar a little high for me. Like trying to say I will eat better. Most of us know that we will eventually fail, right? So, what I do instead is make sure I keep trying to eat better. After all, if at first you don’t succeed, try again. So here’s a short list of what I would like to keep achieving:
