Welcome to The Beautiful Elements.

The very definition of beautiful is to please the senses or the mind aesthetically. When your surroundings, your elements are aesthetically pleasing, you feel better. It’s like taking a deep breath and feeling like you can take on the world.

“I’m going to make everything around me beautiful- that will be my life.”- Elsie de Wolfe

Who doesn’t love beautiful things, places, and people? If you say you don’t, you’re kidding yourself. Being surrounded by beauty makes you feel good. That’s what this blog is about. This is my corner of the internet world where I share some of the beauties of the world and I give you some pointers on how to translate it into your home.

Thanks for stopping by. Let’s grab a cup of coffee and get to know each other.

My name is Michelle.

This post is a fun, quick way to get to know me.

While this blog is about sharing beautiful inspirations, it’s also about my journey.

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkein

This quote has become something of a personal motto as many people says it fits me perfectly and believe me, I do not have it all perfectly planned or figured out. Read a little bit about that here.

What I do know is I love coffee, interiors, travels, my husband (with whom I eloped with to Costa Rica), and our dogs (Kali recently joined us). Not too long ago, we bought a house. Want to see more?

It came with beautiful landscaping, so I have come to love gardening as it delights me to learn the names of the plants growing in our yard. My interior decorating style, as you will come to find out, is eclectic. I’m a big believer of everything in moderation- my diet(whatever it is at the time) included! But we’re not here to talk about how much I love pizza and how many glasses of Pinot Noir I love to drink. We’re here to talk about interiors, travels and gardens among other things.

Your home should be a reflection of who you are.

I hope you’ll stick around with me to get a few ideas and tips for yourself. Feel free to connect with me in a number of ways:
